Are you a kind of person who doesn’t give up in the face of difficulties? Do they only make you more zealous and determined to reach your goal no matter what? Maybe you feel like you lack these qualities and want to raise them in yourself? All these reasons are great for launching Getting Over It 2 and trying to pass even the first few levels!

A weird kind of mountaineering

The task that the game sets before you seems easy at first – all you need to do is get to the top of the mountain. However, the character you’re controlling is different from anything you would expect. It’s a man sitting in a cauldron. Having limited himself in such a strange, cumbersome and pointless way, he can only use his hands armed with a sledgehammer to make his way up the steep slope strewn with all kinds of obstacles. As you can guess, controlling his movements is incredibly complicated.

It doesn’t matter how many times you already tried to pass the same place and how many times you managed to do it – there is always a chance that you’ll get stuck there and will have to start over. Even if you know exactly what kind of moves you need to perform, you can still fail to do it right and oops, your character ends up falling down to the very bottom. And the fact that you will get to marvel at all the whimsical sceneries you have already passed by just half an hour ago during your fall is not much of a consolation.

Move up, fall down, get up and keep going!

Unlike other games, Getting Over It 2 doesn’t make you respawn at the beginning of the level or some checkpoint to start from scratch. You keep tumbling down as long as the laws of physics require it and continue your way from the very spot where you stop. That means that even if you lost it and started rolling in the opposite direction from your destination point, you can still save yourself by hooking onto some ledge or tree branch with your unusual mountaineering tool and persistently keep ascending from there. So stay focused and balanced all the time – this is a game where every millimeter of how you move your fingers matters! Start playing and good luck!
